John,
I have a mystery,hope you can help,the engine is a Briggs 6.0hp model 12H802 type 0235, on a troy-built sp mower.
there is no spark at the plug,I replaced the electronic coil still no spark, even with the safety switch wires disconnected ,thought I may have gotten a faulty coil,so tried another still nothing ,also checked the flywheel ket and flywheel they seem to be okay.
my customer states that the mower was running fine, the only thing he did was to tilt it up to replace a wheel and then he could'nt get it started.
have been repairing mowers for years and this sure has me stumpted.

 Hello Joe:

Was the Shutoff Wire Disconnected at the Coil or was the Safety Switches Jumpered Out? There is an Interlock on this Engine. If the Coil is Good and Gapped .020 from the Flywheel and the Magnets are Good (not rusted really bad), then the Coil (if good) has No Reason Not to Fire. Even with the Flywheel Key Sheared, the Engine will Still Fire, just not when it is Supposed to. Disconnect the Coil Shutoff Wire at the Coil and Try. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

Answer
 Hello Joe:

Have you Checked the Magnets on the Flywheel? If this Engine doesnt have Point Set and the Breakdown shows no Point set, then the Flywheel can be the Only thing Left to Cause this Problem. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. You have Peaked my Interest Now. :-)Thanks.
