Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Need help with craftsman riding lawn mower, output coil, pully

well i have a old craftsman well it says sears on side but we all know its craftsman lol well what i wanted to know is i wanted to supp up my lawn mower and race them lol yea i live in west virginia hahaha so we like to do that stuff here with junk so i have 10 hp tecumse engine on it i know if i put a big pully on front with the engine it would mak it faster but is there a place i can see online that i can get the pully and stuff i can do to the engine that make it better to do so let me know what to do and some tips and thank you very much for helping me out

Hi, Sounds like Fun!!
I'm not sure where to get a larger pully, You might have some luck going to your local junk yard! You will have to do some modifactions to it but that is half the fun! But also you need to change the gears in the rearend & if it has governer on it take it off! If you want to realy get more HP then take the head and have it bored out & Go with a larger piston! Get the carb jets bored & put hi output coil on it! & that sould put some wind behind you!
