Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): poulan chainsaw, carburator, exhaust port

Question
Poulan pro chain saw of my neighbors.  1yr old.  Seems to start fine with choke but when you start to push choke in the engine start to rev up and will then quit.  Even after the engine warms with the choke out this still happens.  I look for the L and H adjustment but it look as if it is not adjustable.  There is only a idle screw.  Chain saw ran good last season.  Thanks with any help

Answer
 Hello Mike:

Take a Wire and Make a Hook in One end and Fish the Fuel Filter out of the Tank. Change the Fuel Filter in the Tank. If the Filter Doesnt Correct the Problem, then Clean and Rebuild the Carburator. Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution(Gunk Carburator Cleaner) and then Blow Out All the Passages with Compressed Air. Install Kit. You May find a Breakdown of this Saw at this Addy http://www.ordertree.com/poulan/ and in the Lower Right Corner Select the OEM and Enter the Model Number. Then Follow the Instruction to get to the Illustrated Parts List. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
