Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): mower bogs and kicks out smoke, honda gcv160 engine, honda engines

Question
lawn boy model 10695 with honda gcv160 engine

i tipped it half way to clean out under it
after mowing the lawn

some gas dripped out and when i put it upright,
it looked like oil dripping out of the air filter

now it doesn't run at full speed and spits out some black smoke

Answer
 Hello Dave:

From your Description it Sounds like the Crankcase Vent has Gotten Oil into it when you Tilted the Mower. You can View a Breakdown of this Engine at this Addy http://www.honda-engines-eu.com/en/service/spareparts/heepartscatalogue/index.js... and Enter the Model Numbers and the Type Letters. Clean the Crankcase Vent Of Oil. Hope this helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
