Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): faint spark, briggs and stratton, cylinder motor

Question
John i was given a white ride on lawn mower LT120 it has a briggs and stratton 13.5 twin cylinder motor. The trouble is there is only a very faint spark it seem to turn over ok

Answer
 Hello Pat:

Any Spark is Good. Check the Gap Between the Coil and the Flywheel. The Gap should be .020in. Have you Tried Spraying Starter Fluid into the Carburator While starting the Engine? Is the Compression of this Engine 70psi or Greater? Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown of the Engine and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
