hey john its me cory i just got the make model and everyhting from my grandfather so here it is:
12.5 h.p. motor tractor model number 917.255520 engine model number 286707 type number 0413-01 so there it is please help me with this i really thank you let me know asap bye.

 You can View a Breakdown of the Engine at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Click the B. Then Click Briggs and Stratton. Then Click Dont have Part Numbers. Then Scrool Down to the File Number 28 and Click. Then Scroll Down to the Model Number and Click. This will Download a Breakdown of the Engine for you to View Online. You can View the Mower at this Addy http://www3.sears.com/ and Click the Box for Lawn Equipment. Then Follow the Instructions that will take you to the View Diagram/View Parts List Page.
