Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite Leaf Blower, fuel tank cap, spark arrestor

Question
I have a 2 cycle leaf blower that leaks fuel through the carb after shutting it off.  It puts a puddle of smelly fuel in my garage everytime I use it.  Can you tell me what to check for.  Thanks in advance, Dan

Answer
 Hello Dan:

The Fuel Tank Cap May need Replacing. The Cap is Allowing Pressure to Build in the Tank and Pushes the Carburator Needle Open, Flooding the Carburator and causing the Leak. The Carburator Needle Isnt Seating Properly so the carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Remove the Muffler and Inspect the Exhaust Port for Blockage. Check the Muffler and the Spark Arrestor for Blockage. The Spark Arrestor is in the Muffler. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
