Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): why engine fails to start?, switch jumper, mtd yard machine

My riding lawn mower will not start because there is no fire getting to sparkplug. I have a MTD yard machine model 13an678go16 and engine model is 31777 type 0163-e1 code 0104202d

 Hello Johnnie:

 Start with the Seat Safety Switch Jumper it. Check Each Safety Switch; Neutral, Clutch and Blade. If one of these is Bad the Engine will Not Get Fire to the Plug. If these are good, let me know. You can View a Breakdown o the Mower and Engine at this Addy http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Click on Parts Look Up. then Select the OEM(MTD) and Enter the Model Numbers 13an678g016 and Click Search.
