Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Garden Tractor wont start, magnum engine, starter fluid

Question
I have a 19.5 hp Kohler magnum engine model number MV20S-57529 in my cRAFTSMAN GARDEN TRACTOR. iT IS 10 years old. Won't start. It cranks and sounds like it is going to start but I can't get it going. Before it died completely I was having some trouble starting it. It would start then stall and I would have to wait a while before it would start again. I changed plugs, battery is new and I tried charging it new gas and gas filter changed air filter. Grass is getting really tall.

Answer
 Hello Robert:

From your Description it Sounds like the Carburator need to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Will it Start and Quit if you Use Starter Fluid? If Yes, then the Carburator is teh Problem. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown for you to View Online. You can try this Addy http://www.kohlerengines.com/service/manuals/index.jsp for a Breakdown once you have the Model and Type Numbers. Hope this Helps. I am here to help if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck
