Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs/stratten will not turn over when warm, vapor lock, intek

have a b/s 18 hp intek. when cold it fires up perfect. after running for say ten minutes and shut down, will not turn over. thought maybe a vapor lock? or compression problem. switched out parts with a newer 18 hp intek. starter did the same thing. jumped solinoid still would not turn motor over. put new battery in . same thing. but always after cooling down for 20 min or so, will turn right over. forgot to mention during this problem if I take the spark plug out, it will turn right over. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

 Did you Change the Starter? I have had Mowers that would do as you Described and the Starter was Binding when Hot. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please.
