Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Gas Blower Wont Start, starter fluid, coil ignition

Question
Craftsman Gas Blower Model 358.797180
Blower is 3 years old.  Will not start.  Have changed the gas, spark plug and used starter fluid in the carb.  Any suggestions?

Answer
 Hello Bob:

Remove the Spark Plug. Wrap a Wire Around the Threads of the Plug and Attach the Other End of the Wire for the Engine. Turn the Engine. Is the Plug Firing? If Yes, Then Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust Port for Blockage. Check the Muffler and Spark Arrestor Screen for Blockage. The Carburator May need Cleaning and Rebuilding. If No, then Disconnect the Shutoff Wire from the Coil. Check for Fire. If Fire Now, then the Shutoff Switch or Wire is Bad. If No, the Coil/Ignition Module is Bad.
