Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 2 Stroke Oil in engine, leaf vacuum, carburator

Hi
My neighbour just bought a new 2 stroke leaf vacuum and has put
unmixed 2 stroke oil in the fuel tank (no petrol). She wondered why
it wouldn't start. What's the best way to get this running? Just add
petrol to wash out the tank several times?

 Hello Ross:

 That will Work. However, if the Oil has Made it to the Carburator you May have to Use the Palm of your Hand and Draw(Choke) the Engine Several Times to Get the Oil Out of the Carburator Bowl and Jet. Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can View a Breakdown of the Engine and Carburator and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps.
