Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Itermittent spark, briggs stratton, spark plug wire

4 cycle Briggs & Stratton, 8HP at 3600 RPM 319 CC, Model 190702, Type 1214 01, Code 82020812.

Mower wasn't starting so I pulled the spark plug, placed the spark plug wire back on spark plug and pulled recoil; noticed only a single spark every second pull. Seems to be getting plenty of fuel into carb; plug even was saturated with fuel when I pulled it out.

From your Description and from Viewing the Breakdown. I Suggest you Replace the Point Set. The Contacts of the Point Set May be Burnt or the Condensor of the Point Set May be going Bad.
