Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): No Spark, kohms, measure 1

Hi John,
I have a Kohler K161 engine and it has no spark.
I would like to find out what the resistance of the magneto is suppose to be?  I measure 1 ohm for the primary and 9.95 kohms for the secondary.  The primary seems too low. What do you think?

 Hello Phillip:

 The Best Test for the Coil/Magneto is to Disconnect the Shutoff Wire from the Coil/Magneto and Turn the Engine with the Spark Plug Out. If the Coil/Magneto Fires, then the Coil/Magneto is Good. Trying to Read the OHMS Doesnt Work on the New Coils/Magnetos with the Internal Ignition Module. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Engine, Please.
