Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman tiller, carburator, code numbers

Question
I recently aquired a Craftsman tiller model 917.293203 with a 5hp B&S model 137202 motor. It has been used about 5 times in the past and was stored for the last few years(with fuel in the tank). I drained the oil and gas and replaced with fresh, and also replaced the spark plug. The problem is that the motor pulsates up and down and has little power. I run carb cleaner through with no luck it still surges. Hope you can help.

Answer
 Hello John:

Clean and Rebuild the Carburator. Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution. If this is the Plastic Carburator, then Purchase a New One. I have been Told they Cost Between $17.00 to $23.00. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. I can Locate a Breakdown of the Engine to View Online to Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
