Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 6.5HP Self Propelled Push Mower, engine mod, carburator

Question
I am not familiar with small engines but my mower will start after pushing the priming bulb 4-5 times and run for 10-15 seconds and stop.  If I push the priming bulb right when it starts to shut off it will continue to run.  I thought maybe a filter issue but replaced and still same.

 Hello Jason:

 The Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. It needs to be Soaked Overnight in Cleaning Solution and then All the Passages Blown Out with Compressed Air. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.
