Hi John  I have a 1989 mtd husky lawn tractor
#130-6596131 / 44-20113 ,B&S 12 hp #281707 0411 01
89110311. I was just wondering if you would have a parts list I can't find one any where. I need the govenor spring when I engage clutch engine wants to stall and I think the spring is the problem

 Hello Paul:

 From your Description, I Suggest the Carburator be Cleaned and Rebuild. It Sounds like the Varnish that the Gas Forms Over time Inside the Carburator is Restricting the Gas Flow to the Carburator Jet. The Engine Receives enough Gas to Run with No Load, but when a Load is Applied(the Blades Engaged) the Carburator Cant Supply the Amount of Gas Required to Run. You can View a Breakdown of the Engine at this Addy http://www.partstree.net/parts.asp and Click on Parts Look Up. Make Sure the Briggs and Stratton Selection is Showing and then Enter the Model Numbers 281707-0411 and Click Search. Then Click on the Model in the Search Results Area.
