Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): b&s choking out in full throttle, briggs and stratton, tecumesh

i have a 5.5 briggs and stratton tecumesh past couple of days its been stalling at full throttle, and also how can i get the most speed out of it, its on a go kart

 Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. They are Usually Stamped into the Metal Engine Cover. With these Numbers I can View a Breakdown of the Engine and Better Assist you. Thanks.
