Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Carb bowl leak, gasket, stratton

Question
I have a 8HP Briggs an Stratton Model number 195707 Type 195707....on a Troy Built High Wheel Mower. It set for a year ..did not start...checked carb bowel and float ....all gummed up. Wasn't getting gas. Cleaned it all up..did not do a rebuild. Put on a new gasket on the bowl and one on the bolt securing the bowl but gas keeps leaking from the bowel bolt area. Starts and runs well but can't use it with the leak. Thanks for your help

Answer
 Hello George:

Did you Put the Gasket on the Bowl Bolt on the Outside of the Bowl or on the Inside? the Gasket for the Bowl Bolt is Supposed to be on the Inside of the Bowl. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I Enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
