Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnmower wont start, soleniod, shutoff valve

Question
You fixed my former problem it was the gas shutoff valve..replaced and it ran great....then I tried to mow again a week later and it will not start. Won't jump off by battery or directly to selinoid but you can use car battery and touch wire on starter and ground on mower deck and it will crank.....what could the problem be..thank you..Linda

Answer
 Hello Linda:

There are Several Possible Causes. 1- The Ignition Switch is Bad. 2- The Fuse is Blown(if this model has one). 3- The Seat Safety is Bad. When you Jumpered the Soleniod, did you Jumper from the Large Post to the Large Post? Does the Battery have a Full Charge? Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Engine and the Mower, Please. With these Numbers I can View a Breakdown of the Mower and Engine and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I really Enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
