Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftman push mower, john harte, carburator

Question
I am having trouble asking follow-up questions....but any way. From what you have told me in the past, I have a carborator problem. what is  the easiest way to clean it out. Craftman ez3 model 917.377210.  If tried to use cleaner now it may start after 20 primes   but only for a short times 2-3 seconds. As it stalls it will restart if I press the primer button again. It will keep running as long as I keep pressing the primer button. PLEASE Help.

Thanks again, JOhn Harte, Brooklyn NY

Answer
 Hello John:

The Carburator needs to be Soaked Overnight in Cleaning Solution(not the Plastic Carburator). Then Blow All the Passages Out with Compressed Air. The Plastic Carburator has to Be Soaked for 1 hr at a Time and Blown out with Compressed Air Each Time it is Soaked. It takes about 4 Times to Properly Clean the Plastic Carburator this Way. The Varnish the Gas has Formed is HArd to Remove from the Carburators. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
