Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): b&s 14hp vanguard doest start, soleniod, riding mower

Question
i went to start my riding mower yesterday and it had a slow crank as if the battery went dead so i bought a new battery but that didn't change it my question is where do i go from here what can it be? can you you help me?

Answer
 Hello Jim:

Other than a Bad Connection at the Soleniod or Starter, Have the Starter Tested. If the Battery Didnt Change the Way the Starter Turned, then the Starter is Dragging. Most Automotive Parts Stores can Test the Starter for you. Simply Remove the Starter and take it to be Tested. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
