Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Cub Cadet LT 1046 Drive Belt Replacement, center bolt, puley

Question
While mowing today, my drive belt broke on my new LT1046 Cub Cadet. I bought a replacement belt but when I consulted the owners manual it said special tools like an air rachet were needed and several componenets had to be removed. They said to take it into a service center. I removed the deck and looked at the parts breakdown.  Looks as though I'd have to remove the clutch to get the belt around the front puley. Is this a complicated fix? Is this something I'd better leave to the professionals?  Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Larry:

The Clutch Does have to be Removed. I dont Feel it is a Job for Professionals, if you can Follow the Breakdown for the Deck, then the Clutch is the Easy Part of the Belt Replacement. However Air Tools are Best for the Removal and Replacement of the Clutch Center Bolt. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
