Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): riding mower drive belt, transaxle, model numbers

Question
I have a Poulan 14.5 hp riding mower. The drive belt keeps coming off at the transmission. I replaced the belt with a new one from Sears, but it keeps coming off. I made a makeshift belt guide on one side where the original seems to have broken off, the other side is still in place. The hydro unit seems to have a slight backward tilt to it. Is this the problem, and if so, how do I correct it?

Answer
 Hello Paul:

Check the Transaxle Mounting Bolts and the Frame in Front and Behind where the Transaxle Rests on the Frame. the Transaxle shouldnt be Tilted. This is the Most likely Cause for the Belt Jumping Off. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Mower and I can Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
