Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnboy lawn mower, throttle linkage, exhaust port

Question
When I try to start my mower, gas shoots out of the muffler.  It does not fire or try to start.  I have taken the carb off and cleaned it and checked the throttle linkage and it seems ok.  I would appreciate your help.

Answer
 Hello Lowell:

Send me the Model Numbers, Please. With these Numbers I can View a Breakdown of the Mower. However, the Carburator is Still Flooding the Engine. Check the Exhaust Port and the Muffler for Blockage. Carbon Builds up in the Exhaust Port and Muffler on the Lawnboy Engines and Causes the Problem you Described. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
