Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Riding Lawn mower transmissions, spicer transmission, tracter

Question
I have a Noma 14hp B&S with a Spicer Transmission 43600-75.  The engine is blown in this mower.  I have the opportunity to by a Craftsman 15.5hp Kohler tracter with a blown peerless 930-057A transmission.  Is there a chance of combining the two to make one?  If so which is the best route?  The Kohler 15.5 hp to the Noma or the Spicer transmission to the Craftsman?

 Hello Jon:

 Depending on Which Frame is the Best; I would Either take the Transaxle and Change it or Change the Engine. Most Transaxles are Interchangeable, as is the Engines. The Worry with the Engines is the Crankshaft Length and Diameter. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
