Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn tractor dies after blades engaged, hp tractor, carburator

Question
I have to jump start my sears 22 hp tractor. when I engage the blades, it slowly dies, even if still hooked up to the charger. Please help. Grass will need to be hayraked soon, & funds are very low.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Answer
 Hello Pennie:

It Sounds like the Carburator is Starving for Gas. 1- The Carburator May need Cleaning and Rebuilding. 2- The Fuel Filter May need Changing. 3- The Gas Cap may not be Venting the Gas Tank Properly. The Fact that the Engine Slowly Dies Makes the Above Items the Most Likely Causes of this Problem. There are Other Possible Causes, but I feel One of the Above is the Cause of your Problem. If None of the Above is the Cause, then Follow Up on this Question to me and I will Give you Some More Areas to Look for the Cause. Thanks. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
