Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman mower not getting fuel, starter fluid, carburator

Question
I have a craftsman mower model 917380320.
It is not getting any fuel.
It does fire up when sprayed with ether.
Please help !

 If you can Run the Engine with Starter Fluid, then It Sounds like the Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. To Better Assist you, Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
