Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Points&Condensers 2HP Brigggs, starter clutch, plastic tool

Question
Just a quick qestions, on a Briggs 2HP what is the way to get to those points and condensers?

Answer
 Hello Dan:

This will Get you to the Point Set, Although there may be a Slight Difference in the Items to Remove. If they Dont Look like the Instructions for your Model, then Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can see the Model Engine you have and Modify the Instruction as Required. Thanks.  1- Remove the Blower Housing. 2- Remove the Starter Clutch/Cup(Depends on Model). 3- Using a Steering Wheel Puller, Remove the Flywheel. Tighten the Puller and the Hit the Puller with a Hammer to Jar the Flywheel. Repeat this Until the Flywheel Jump Up a Little when it Comes Loose from the Crankshaft. 3- Lift the Flywheel Off the Crankshaft and you will see the Points Set Cover. 4- Remove this Cover. There is a Spring on the Condensor that is Compressed with the Plastic Tool in the New Points Set. The Point Set is Gapped at .020in. Reassemble in Reverse. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
