Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): V twin Kohler Eats head gaskets and Blows oil, head gaskets, seat area

Question
I have a 25 hp twin kohler with 3000+ hours that has blown 3 head gaskets so far this season on the same cylinder and is blowing oil out the breather. I was going to pull the offending cylinder and check for warpage. I have 120 psi in the bad cylinder and 150psi in the good cylinder. and Ideas about the oil?

Thanks

Answer
 Hello Steve:

You have a Broken/Cracked Ring. The Compression is Bypassing the Broken/Cracked Ring and Forcing the Oil Out of the Crankcase. The Headgasket Problem is Caused by the Improper Compression and Possiblly a Bad Seat Area on the Head or the Block. Improper Torque is Another Possible cause. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck
