Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): I found the engine model..., coil ignition, flywheel

Question
John,

First, the model # is H60-75413J. To replace the coil/ignition module like you suggested, will I have to remove the flywheel? If so will I need a pulling toolbecause it seems pretty stuck on there with no place to really tap it off. Once it's off what am I looking for? What should I expect it to cost roughly? Will my local small engine shop have readily since it is so old? What should I expect to pay for the carb kit? and is compressed air vital? As I do not have access to an air compressor outside of my job. Worst case I can enlist some help from my engineer on my tug where we have an air compressor...Lastly, do you drink beer? I ask because I am an avid homebrewer and have spent the last few months in my new house un-mothballing and re-vamping my brewery and when I get my next batch up I would love to repay your effort and time with a six of home crafted goodness. I await your continued help and appreciate your time and effort.

Sincerely, and less frustrated,
Aaron

Answer
   Hello Aaron:

This Engine has a Point Set. Remove the Flywheel using a Steering Wheel Puller. Attach the Puller to the Flywheel using the Threaded Holes in the Flywheel. Once there is Pressure on the Puller Hit the Puller to Jar the Flywheel. Retighten the Puller and Hit it  Again. The Flywheel will Pop Up. The Flywheel and Crankshaft are a Wedge Fit. The Points Set and All the Parts for this Engine are Still Avaliable from your Local Small Engine Service Center. Once the Flywheel is Off, you will see an Aluminum Cover that is Bolted Over the Point Set. Remove this Cover and you can See the Point Set. You can see a Diagram of this Engine at this Addy http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=a-8671&category=TecumsehPD... The Point Set Gap is .020in. The Point Set and Carburator Kit will Cost About $20.00 to $30.00 USD. This is a Rough Guess. Compressed air is Required to Blow Out the Ports and Passages of the Carburator. Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution. Thanks for the Offer on the Beer, but I dont Drink. I have some Friends that Do and they Say, Home Brew is the best. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
