Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mower quit, hp briggs, starter clutch

Question
Unfortantly, I do not have model numbers, the mower does not belong to me.  The mower does not start at all, though.  we tryed hard to get it going.  What does it take to check the flywheel key, for these seems to be the problem.  As it makes sense.  I looked at the blade, and there was a nice nick in it, so I think he did hit something.

Question -
4.5 hp Briggs on a Murry 21" deck
The other day, I started to mow the grass, and the mower quit.  I checked the fuel, and filled up the tank.  I removed the top, and disconnected the grounding wire and check to see if it was bare in any spots and grounding out.  I pulled the plug, pulled the start cord and I saw spark.  I pushed the primer and watched though the air filter as fueled flowed into the carb.  Any suggestions on what is keeping the thing from starting up?

 Hello Craig:

Does the Mower Start then Quit? If yes, then there is Trash/Water in the Carburator. Did you Hit anything with the Mower? Even if the Flywheel Key is Damaged, there will Still be Fire at the Plug. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Engine so I May Better Assist you, Please. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

Answer
 Hello Craig:

Remove the Blower Housing(metal engine cover). Remove the Nut or Starter Clutch that Holds the Flywheel Onto the Crankshaft. They Turn the Same Direction as Engine Rotation for Removal. Using a Steering Wheel Puller, Attach it to the Flywheek and Apply Pressure to the Puller. Hit the Puller with a Hammer to Jar the Flywheel. The Flywheel will Pop Up and then it can be Removed. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck
