Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnmower pull cord, oil level, spark plug

Hello, my name is James.  When I pull the cord for my lawnmower it will not pull.  I have no idea whats going on, it was working just fine the other day.  Your answer would be a big help to my grass and I.  Thanks

Try removing the spark plug and see if you can pull the cord.  If not, with the spark plug still removed from the engine, check the oil level and check the blade.

Sometimes grass builds up under the deck preventing the engine from turning.   Make sure the spark plug is REMOVED from the engine before checking the blade.
