Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda mower, starter fluid, model numbers

I keep pulling and pulling but I can't get this self propelled easy start honda mower to start..what is the trick

 Hello Kathy:

 Remove the Air Filter and Carefully Spray Starter Fluid Into the Carburator Throat and try to Start the Engine. Does it Start and Quit? Send me the Model Numbers and Serial Numbers Off of the Frame and Off of the Engine, Please. I can Look up the Diagram and See The Mower we are Talking About and Better Assist you. Thanks.
