QuestionI have a Briggs & straton mower model # 917377280 when i prime the engine it will start, but soon as it burns that gas it shuts off. Any help would be appreciated.

Something in your fuel delivery is stopped up. You want to try this repair yourself?
1- Drain the fuel tank, flush and drain again.
2- Buy a can a carb cleaner
3- Drop the fuel bowl (silver cup under the carb)
4- Pour a bit of gas into the tank, and raise and lower the float. Verify that it can control the gas flow into the bowl area. If gas dosen't flow in, the little rubber tipped valve that the float operates must be cleaned out.
5- If thats ok- clean the plug that you removed to take off the bowl, and spray cleaner up into the tube in the center of the bowl.
