1989-STX38- wth Kohler 12.5 engine starts and runs for 35 min then stops as starved for fuel.If i wait 15 min it will restart and run for 10 min. then shut down again. This keeps repeating.Fresh fuel doesn't help. The fuel line seems clear.

 Hello George:

 Send me the MAke, Model and Type Codes Off of the Engine, Please. However, you can Perform a Test that will Help us Along. Carry a Spark Plug with you that has a Wire Wrapped Around the Threads. When the Engine Quits and Wont Restart, then take the Plug and Put the Coil Lead On it and Ground the Wire to the Engine. Check for Fire At the Plug. If there is No Fire at the Plug, then the Coil/Ignition Module May be Bad. Depending on the Make and Model of your Engine, It May have an External Ignition Module. Hope this Helps.
