Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn mower dies, squirt bottle, water in the fuel
QuestionMy lawn mower is difficult to start, when I finally get it started, and move forward to mow it dies. Then it won't start up again.
AnswerHi David-
You have to determine the nature of your problem, whether its a fuel problem or an ignition proble. Get a small squirt bottle of gas, leave the air filter off, or the hood up. Squirt some gas- is it easier to start? Likely you have water in the fuel bowl and mayabe some in the tank.
Lemme know how the test goes.
- Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): failure to start, exhaust ports, flood damage
- Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stalling, 6HP Briggs & Stratton, briggs stratton, float bowl
- Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn chief 5 hp mower, mtd service, starter cord
