Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman trimmer model 358.796280, weed whacker, throttle cable

Question
I have a craftsman weed whacker model 358.796280

I had to replace the throttle cable which was very hard to get to.  I had to take the cover off where the choke switch is housed.  Now I can't get it started.  The choke lever doesn't seem to click when I change it's position.  I don't have the owners manual (which may not help anyway)  I also can't tell what brand of engine it is.  Any advice?

Answer
 Hello Jerry:

Retrace you Steps when Replacing the Carb to the Engine. It Sounds like the Choke Arm isnt on the Piviot Properly. Was the Engine Running this Year before you had to Replace the Throttle Cable? If not, the Carb may Require Overhauling and Cleaning too. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
