Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn mower, float bowl, asnwers

Hello my is jack and well as the tittle says it My engines won't star.. i'd have read almost of the "engine won't start" asnwers and well they don;t applied to mine.....so here  it goes. You the put fuel inot the fuel tank the press the you prime or push the black button 3x. then you pull but it doesn't start !! I already know my carb isn;'t the problem because when i test  it with my other B&S it works fine
anyway once you prime it and pull about 2 times
it wants to start but then it shuts downs.
It this dosen;t help let me know. thanks

Most of these problems are casued by a dirty carburetor.  If you have a float style carb with a round float bowl on the bottom of the carburetor, you can try draining the fuel bowl by removing the float bowl nut.  Make sure the holes in the float bowl nut are clean.

If you have a diaphragm carb and tank combo assembly you will have to remove the tank/carb, dis-assemble and clean with compressed air from an air compressor.
