Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Riding Mower, craftsman riding mower, safety switches

Question
I have a Craftsman Riding mower that won't turn over. I've checked the battery is okay and changed the solenoid. The lights won't come on when the key is turned to the lights on position prior to starting. I've checked that power is getting to the solenoid but I can't meter power past that point.

Answer
 Hello Ken:

Check the Clutch , Seat and Blade Safety Switches. If one of these are Bad the Starter wont Engage. Also Check the Wiring for a Fuse. Replace the Fuse and the Lights should Work. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
