Do I need to take out the springs in order to remove all the head bolts? I have a bent rod.

According to the Manual you dont have to remove the springs to remove the Head. Hope this Helps.

The Crankshaft and the Cam have timing Marks that you Match Up. These Marks may be a Dimple or a Long Scribe Mark. This Times the Valves. The Flywheel Key Times the Firing of the Coil. Hope this Helps.
