Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): mower wont turns over but wont start, briggs and stratton, key switch

Ihave a craftsman riding mower #917252531 with a briggs and stratton 28n707 i replaced the starter and ignition switch and and the solenoid and all it does is blow fuses. I try to jump it and now it will turn over but wont fire. Please help I have been at this since before winter.

Ouch- I feel yer pain dude!
We'll have to take this one step at a time- you say its blowing fuses now or not?  When doe the fuse blow? when you try to crank it or when you turn the key switch on?

-The key hits "on" for ignition first, THEN it hits "crank" or "start"  its important to know WHEN the fuse blows, this indicates the problem circuit.
