Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs 12.5 HP wont re-start when hot, starter solenoid, starter fluid

Question
I have a simplicity 5212.5 that has the problem of not wanting to re- start when hot. It starts up cold fine rune real good and doesnt die out running when hot. Its if I shut if down and then try to re-start it it wont go. I need to let it sit and come back the next day and its does it all over again.

I changed out the starter solenoid, rebuilt the stater grears and replaced the coil on top of the engine. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Answer
 Hello Paul:

Can you Tell me what Happens when it Wont Restart. In Detail Please. Also I require the Model Number of the Engine. Check for Fire at the Plug. Even a New Coil can be Bad. I have seen a few Mowers that Vapor Lock once shut off while hot, but these will Restart after a couple of Hours. The Gas in the Fuel line Turns to Vapor before it Reaches the Carb Bowl or as it Enters the Carb Bowl due to Heat from the Engine. When you Try to Restart it. Will it Restart using a small amount of Starter Fluid? Is it the Starter doesnt Turn the Engine?

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
