Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): hydro, hydrostatic drive, transaxle

Question
hi i have a sabre 1542hs engine runs good
its a hydro trans it goes up and down the hill a few times then it will bearly make about the third time just replaced the drive belt any more option

Answer
 Hello Mike:

The Problem is the Fluid in the Hydrostatic Drive Transaxle Thins out as it Gets Hot. Once it Thins, Any Place in the Transaxle that is Worn will Allow Pressure to Bypass and therefore Loss of Motion Occurs. This Transaxle needs to be Serviced by a Knowledgeable Repair Shop. Is the Cooling Fan on top of the Transaxle Clean and Functionong Properly. Is the Transaxle Itself Clean so as to Stay as Cool as Possible while Operating. Other Than what I have Stated above theres nothing to be Done for the Transaxle by a Homeowner. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
