Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chainsaw fuel line, logical flow, oil line

Question
I have a Mac 3210. When I went to replace the primer pump I found that all the fuel lines and bar oil line had desintergrated. Not knowing the paths due to the above situation, I replaced the lines looking at what I thought was a logical flow of fuel. The saw will start, pump is full, but it seems to flood out after a 1/2 minute of running.

Answer
 Hello Walt:

Is it Flooding out or Starving Out? If the Hoses were Routed Wrong then the Saw would not Start at All. If it is Starting and then Dying, then Trash May have Gotten into the Carb. If you have a Fuel Return from the Carb to the Tank; you might try Switching the Two Carb Lines. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
