Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Lawn mower, craftsman lawn mower, oil side

Question
I have a craftsman 6.0 pushmower.  I tilted it over too far trying to adjust the wheels.  The oil side was closest to the ground.  A very small amount of oil spilled onto the flooring.  I could not detect any oil elsewhere.  Mower would not restart until the following day.  Ran fine.  No smoke or any thing unusal.  Cut off to move to another area and it would not restart.  Retryed after 4-5 hours and it still would not restart.  Next day started right up, but after I cut it off it would not restart.  Filter is clean.  This has been going on now for several weeks. Starts fine at first and then if I cut it off for any reason it won't restart until the next day.  I can start the mower and cut it off right then and it won't restart.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

Answer
 Hello Susan:

The Crankcase Vent is where the Oil came from. The Carb may have gotten Oil into it. Clean the Crankcase Vent and See if the Problem Stops. If not send me the Model Number off the Engine and I can be of more help.  Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
