Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 32cc straight shaft weedeater, straight shaft, weedeaters

Question
Seems like no one wants to repair CRAFTSMAN equipment -
unable to get parts or too hard to repair. Is there a place I can
get a schematic on this product. All I have is a broken cord that
needs replacement. With the schematic, I'll try to give it a shot.

Answer
Hiya Larry-
This is not an easy task- thats why shops hate these kinds of jobs.  Generally- rewinding a pull start on these weedeaters requires, removing the shaft and the clutch before you can get to the starter.  The clutch is threaded onto the shaft with left hand threads.  Removing it requires locking down the flywheel, usually resulting in broken fins.

120 dollars worth of work for a 5 dollar part.  Makes no sense I know- but thats weedeaters.

You still wanna tackle it- I'll help ya (you got nuthin to lose anyway right?)  I just gotta see if I can find some info on your specific model.  Got that model number handy?
