Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): pressure washer engine, excell pressure washer, honda gc160

Question
My Honda gc160 engine mounted to an excell pressure washer just cut off while in use. now it won't start. engine oil may have been low. are their any tests i can run to see why it won't start.  thank you, Dean.

Answer
 Hello Dean:

1-  Remove the Spark Plug and Check for Fire. If no, then Replace the Ignition Module (coil on most Models). 2- Does this Model have a Low Oil Sensor? If so, Check the Sensor by Grounding the wire to the Sensor and see if you have fire at the Plug. If yes, Sensor is good. 3- Pour a Small amount of Gas into the Carb. If it Runs a short time and Quits, then Clean and Overhaul the Carb. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
