QuestionWe had to replace the steering shaft and had to turn the mower upside down. When fixed and returned upright, mower won't start. Changed spark plug, fuel filter and oil filter. Mower will crank but not fire. Weird thing, replaced oil, but oil will not flow out oil drain....
AnswerHi Mark- (my computer is doin weird stuff, hang in there with me)
First, make sure the dipstick shows the correct level of oil. Don't worry right now about it not comin out the drain, unless its too full.
Second- its likely that your combustion chamber is flooded with oil-so a new plug will just foul out again. Buy a can of Marvel Mystery Oil and pour in a 1/4 cup through the plug hole. Crank you engine without the plug and stay away from the plug hole. When it cranks without blowing mist out, replace the cleaned plug and try it again.
