Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): GAS LEAKING, craftsman model, tank leaks

Question
I HAVE A CRAFTSMAN MODEL 35-.795550 25CC 2 CYCLE GAS TRIMMER.  I WORKS JUST FINE UNTIL I PUT IT AWAY.  I HANG IT UP IN THE GARAGE AND AFTER A DAY OR SO MOST OF THE GAS IN THE TANK LEAKS OUT .  I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE SMALL ENGINE REPAIR TWICE BUT THEY CANT SEEM TO GET THE THING FIXED.  THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE THEY REPLACED THE FUEL LINES AND FILTER AND INSTALLED A NEW PRIMER BULB.  I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR IMPUT.

Answer
 Hello Mike:

Try a New Fuel Tank Cap. Are you storing this Horizontally or Vertically? If the Cap isnt Venting properly, then Pressure Builds inside the Tank and Pushes the Fuel out the Carb. The Pressure Overrides the Needle Spring and the Fuel leaks. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
